Abstract:
An excitation signal generation unit 6 processes an in-phase signal REFI of an orthogonal reference signal generated by a signal generation unit 5, and generates an excitation signal VCSx, and a current excitation unit 7 uses voltage signals IxSP, IxSN to generate an excitation current, which is based on the excitation signal VCSx, and conducts said excitation current to a battery cell 2. An impedance measurement unit 10 measures the AC impedance of the battery cell 2 on the basis of the excitation current as measured by a current measurement unit 8 and the voltage of the battery cell 2 as measured by a voltage measurement unit 9. On the basis of the same excitation current and the same voltage, a noise measurement unit 11 measures, as a noise voltage, noise that is superimposed on the battery cell 2. A control unit 4 selects, from among battery cells 2(1)-2(4), a battery cell 2(4) that is not targeted for the AC impedance measurement, and during a condition in which the current excitation unit 7 connected to the battery cell 2(4) is not activated and only the voltage measurement unit 8 for the same is activated, uses the noise measurement unit 11 to measure the noise voltage in the vicinity of a measurement frequency, which is equal to the frequency fLO of the orthogonal reference signal.
