Abstract:

The present invention provides a battery module comprising: a battery cell assembly having two or more battery cells arranged on the side thereof to be close or adjacent to each other; front and rear plates fixed to surround the outermost battery cell of the battery cell assembly; an electrically insulated cover member that is mounted on the upper end of the battery cell assembly and has through-holes formed therein through which electrode terminals of the battery cells pass; conductive connection parts that are arranged while being mounted on the cover member and are connected to the respective electrode terminals of the battery cells to electrically connect the battery cells and detect a voltage; cooling members that are interposed between the battery cells and have a refrigerant flow part of a hollow structure formed therein in which a refrigerant flows; and a manifold connected to the cooling members to make the refrigerant in the refrigerant flow part flow.
