Abstract:
A battery pack comprising: an exterior case; cylindrical battery cells, each of which has a positive-electrode terminal at one end thereof and a negative-electrode terminal at the other end thereof; and a metal plate that is connected to the positive-electrode terminals or the negative-electrode terminals, wherein each battery cell has a peripheral-edge projection around the positive-electrode terminal or the negative-electrode terminal, the metal plate has a projection facing the peripheral-edge projection, and the projection is disposed in a state of close contact with the entire periphery of the peripheral-edge projection with first insulation therebetween.
