Abstract:
This vehicle-mounted ECU controls a vehicle-mounted device that is installed in a vehicle, the vehicle-mounted ECU comprising: a storage unit that stores a control program for controlling the vehicle-mounted device, and a testing program for performing operation confirmation of the vehicle-mounted device or the vehicle-mounted ECU; and a control unit for executing the control program or the testing program, wherein the storage unit stores validity information indicating whether the testing program is valid or invalid, and with reference to the validity information stored in the storage unit, the control unit executes the testing program in a case where the testing program is valid, and executes the control program in a case where the testing program is invalid.
