Abstract:
This battery pack comprises: a plurality of battery blocks having gas discharge surfaces, the plurality of battery blocks being arranged with the gas discharge surfaces facing one another; and heat-resistant members arranged between gas discharge surfaces facing one another, the heat-resistant members forming gas discharge paths between the gas discharge surfaces facing one another. Each battery block has a plurality of cells having gas discharge valves, and a holder for holding the plurality of cells and aligning the gas discharge valves at the holder end surface such that the gas discharge surface is formed. Each heat-resistant member is fixed between holder end surfaces facing one another, and receives gas pressure discharged from abnormal cells among the plurality of cells, whereby the heat resistant member is shifted so as to expand the gas discharge path.
