Abstract:
The present invention suppresses damage to the external body in a battery pack equipped with a secondary cell which has an external body for housing a laminate. This battery pack is equipped with: a secondary cell which has an external body and a laminate having a plurality of positive and negative electrodes which are layered on one another with a separator interposed therebetween; and a housing for housing the secondary cell. The external body has a storage section for storing the laminate, and a flange section capable of bending around the periphery of the storage section. The housing has a first inside surface and a second inside surface which faces the first inside surface with the storage section interposed therebetween. The flange section has a first part which extends from the storage section along a first direction toward the first inside surface, and a second part which is continuous with the tip end of the first part and has a first fixed surface which is fixed to the first inside surface. The part extending along the first direction between the storage section and the first fixed surface is capable of bending in a direction which causes the storage section to become nearer the first inside surface or in a direction which causes the storage section to become farther from the first inside surface.
