Abstract:
Provided in the embodiments of the present application are a battery, a power-consuming device, and a method and device for preparing a battery. The battery comprises: a plurality of battery cells, wherein an end face of each battery cell in a first direction is provided with an electrode terminal, and the plurality of battery cells are arranged in a second direction, the second direction being orthogonal to the first direction; and a thermal management component, which is located between adjacent battery cells in the second direction and is configured to adjust the temperature of the battery cells, wherein the thermal management component has, in a third direction, a central portion, and end portions, which are located on two sides of the central portion, and the width of the central portion in the second direction is less than the width of the end portions, such that a gap is formed between the central portion and the adjacent battery cell in the second direction.
