Abstract:
The battery terminal 10 disclosed in this description is connected and affixed to a battery post P provided to a battery body BT. The battery terminal 10 is characterized by comprising: a post fitting section 12 consisting of metal, the post fitting section 12 being fitted to the outer periphery of the battery post P; a pair of fastening sections 14 provided integrally at the front end of the post fitting section 12 so as to face each other in the left-right direction; a bracket 30 mounted from above to the pair of fastening sections 14 and fastening horizontal sections 16, which are provided to the pair of fastening sections 14, from both sides in the left-right direction, that is, from diagonally left above and from diagonally right above, so that the horizontal sections 16 approach each other, thereby bringing the post fitting section 12 into close contact with the battery post P; and a deformation suppression section 24 for supporting the horizontal sections 16 of the pair of fastening sections 14 from both sides in the vertical direction.
