Abstract:
This beam scanning device comprises: a wavelength variable laser 1 capable of emitting a laser beam of varied wavelengths; a planar wave converter 2 for converting the laser beam into a planar wave laser beam; an optical intensity distribution converter 3 having a first optical intensity distribution converter obliquely disposed relative to the emission direction of the laser beam in a horizontal plane and a second optical intensity distribution converter obliquely disposed relative to the emission direction of the laser beam in a plane orthogonal to the horizontal plane and parallel to the emission direction of the laser beam, the optical intensity distribution converter 3 converting the peak position of optical intensity of the planar wave laser beam in accordance with the wavelength of the planar wave laser beam; and a spherical wave converter 4 converting the planar wave laser beam, where the peak position of the optical intensity was converted, to a spherical wave laser beam.
