Abstract:

The present invention performs a knee-raising operation (Step S2), whereby the knees of a user are raised by manipulating the bottoms of the knees, which are placed on an upper frame, in response to a back-raising with tilt instruction (Step S1: Yes). Next, after the knee-raising operation has been executed, a tilt operation is performed (Step S3), whereby a head-side and leg-side of the upper frame are raised and lowered relative to a floor surface such that the height of the head-side of the upper frame becomes higher than the height of the leg-side of the upper frame. Thus, in a final posture in which the back of the user is raised, the user can be put in a state close to a comfortable sitting position for the user, and furthermore, tightness in the back and abdomen of the user can be reduced, and significant misalignments in the body of the user can be avoided.
