Abstract:
This belt management system is formed from a management server (1) which carries out administration of a belt which is employed in a conveyor belt, a terminal (2) which is disposed in a location where the conveyor belt is installed, and a data server (3) which is disposed at a belt company. The belt management system further comprises: a transceiver unit (10) with which the management server writes belt remaining thickness data which is supplied from the terminal to a management database at each prescribed interval in time series; and a belt lifespan prediction unit (11) which reads the belt remaining thickness data which is stored in the time series, divides a difference of the prescribed period by a usage quantity of the belt, deriving a unit change quantity of a usage quantity unit, subtracts a management limit value which denotes the thickness of the belt which is a replacement index from the latest belt remaining thickness, and divides the result of the subtraction by the unit change quantity, thereby deriving a remaining lifespan which denotes the usage quantity remaining until replacement.
