Abstract:
The present invention relates to a belt mechanism provided in a bicycle continuously variable transmission including a drive pulley and a driven pulley each configured from a pair of sheaves that can be moved toward and away from one another in the direction of an axis of rotation, and a V-belt wound between the drive pulley and the driven pulley, wherein an LT coefficient of the V-belt with respect to the drive pulley lies in a range of 8 to 12 in a usage condition in which torque is maximized with the continuously variable transmission shifted to a lowest speed side, and the V-belt has a belt transverse stiffness in a range of 1500 to 2500 N/mm in a ride-out change measurement test.
