Abstract:
A shoe press belt for controlling water flow in a shoe edge abutting region without generating cracking in the shoe edge abutting region. The shoe press belt has a resin layer formed on the felt side of a substrate, includes a central region, a shoe edge abutting region, and an end region and is characterized in that a step is provided in the shoe edge abutting region. A shoe press belt in a preferable mode has a groove provided in the surface of the resin layer.
