Abstract:
It is intended to provide benzene compounds represented by the following formulae and analogs thereof which exert an ACC activity inhibitory effect and are efficacious in treating hyperlipemia, fatty liver, impaired glucose tolerance, diabetes, diabetic complications (diabetic peripheral neuropathy, diabetic nephropathy, diabetic retinopathy and diabetic great vessel), hypertension and arteriosclerosis.
