Abstract:
The present invention relates to a beverage capsule. The beverage capsule according to the present invention comprises: a body part in which ground coffee or tea powder is received; a first rim part extending in the circumferential direction of the upper end of the body part; a second rim part disposed in the circumferential direction along the outer side of the first rim part; a cover part coming in close contact with the first rim part to seal the body part; at least one selectively removable connection piece provided to connect the first rim part and the second rim part to each other. Therefore, the beverage capsule can be used for coffee machines having different sized coffee capsule inlets by selectively holding the capsule by the first rim part or the second rim part.
