Abstract:
The present invention provides a biaxially oriented polypropylene resin film which has stiffness, while exhibiting excellent fusing sealability and excellent heat sealability. A biaxially oriented polypropylene resin film which has a base layer (A) that is formed of a polypropylene resin composition, and surface layers (B) that are formed of a polypropylene resin composition and are arranged on both surfaces of the base layer, and which is characterized by satisfying the conditions (a) to (d) described below. (a) The mesopentad fraction of the whole polypropylene resin composition constituting the base layer (A) is from 95.0% to 99.5%. (b) The ratio of the component derived from an α-olefin monomer to the total of the component derived from a propylene monomer and the component derived from an α-olefin monomer in the whole polypropylene resin composition constituting the base layer (A) is 0.2% by mole or less. (c) The ratio of the component derived from a butene-1 monomer to the total of the component derived from a propylene monomer and the component derived from an α-olefin monomer in the whole polypropylene resin composition constituting the surface layers (B) is from 5% by mole to 10% by mole. (d) The biaxially oriented polypropylene resin film has a thickness of 60 μm or less; and the ratio of the thickness of the surface layers (B) to the total thickness of all layers of the biaxially oriented polypropylene resin film is from 3% to 10%.
