Abstract:
To provide a retention device for a bicycle frame that allows the work of transferring the bicycle frame to be performed by one person. [Solution] Provided is a retention device (1) for retaining a bicycle frame (W) for transport, in which a balancer arm (2) is connected to one end (3a) of a first arm (3), a freely rotatable second arm (4) is provided on the other end (3b) of the first arm (3) and perpendicular to the first arm (3), a freely rotatable third arm (5) is provided on this second arm (4) and perpendicular to the second arm (4), a gripping means (6) is provided on one end (5a) of this third arm (5), and a positioning boss (7) is provided on the other end (5b) of the third arm (5). Moreover, the tip of a piston rod (8a) of an air cylinder (8) is connected to the outer circumference of the second arm (4), a cylinder main unit (8b) of the air cylinder (8) is connected to a support pillar (3c) erected on the first arm (3), the end of a piston rod (9a) of an air cylinder (9) is connected to the outer circumference of the third arm (5), and a cylinder main unit (9b) of the air cylinder (9) is connected to a support pillar (4c) erected on the second arm (4).
