Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a binder composition for a secondary cell for obtaining both improvement in charge-discharge efficiency of a cell and good cycle characteristics, attributable to a polyimide binder. This binder composition for a secondary cell is characterized by containing a polyamic acid containing a repeating unit comprising a backbone based on an aromatic tetracarboxylic dianhydride, and a backbone based on an alicyclic diamine represented by the structural formula below; and/or a polyamic acid containing a repeating unit comprising a backbone based on an alicyclic tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride, and a backbone based on an aromatic diamine. NH2–(CH2)n–R2–(CH2)m–NH2 (In the formula, R2 represents an alicyclic group, and n and m represent the number of repeating units respectively selected independently from 1 to 5.)
