Abstract:
A binding tool (10) for paper sheets is provided with: a base member 1 (1A, 1B) extending in a longitudinal direction; and a plurality of first binding members (2A) and second binding members (2B) which have base end parts (2AB, 2BB) formed on the base member so as to protrude outward in a width direction and tip end parts (2AS, 2BS) integrally formed with the base end parts so as to curve inward in the width direction, and which are formed so as to be movable between a binding position in which the tip end parts, in positions facing each other in the width direction, come into contact with each other, and an open position in which the tip end parts are separated from each other by a prescribed distance. The base end parts integrally formed with the tip end parts are formed so as to be positionally displaced from each other by at least a thickness TH of the base end parts in the longitudinal direction when the tip end parts positioned facing each other in the width direction are in contact with each other in the binding position.
