Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide an electromagnet stage allowing for a reduction of the placement space for the power cable of an electromagnet in an equipment room where the electromagnet is disposed.
The electromagnet stage (1) is characterized in that: the electromagnet stage (1) comprises a top plate (11) supporting the electromagnet (2a), a plurality of legs (13) supporting the top plate (11), and a cable placement member (12) fixed onto the plurality of legs (13) and disposed on the lower side of the top plate (11); a cable placement portion (16), where a power cable (4) for the electromagnet (2a) is disposed, is formed between the cable placement member (12) and the top plate (11), and extends in the progression direction of the charged particle beam (51); and the cable placement portion (16) has a cable placement width (leg-to-leg length (L1) in the width direction), which is a length in the orthogonal direction to the progression direction of the charged particle beam (51), that is longer than the width (Mw) in the orthogonal direction to the progression direction of the charged particle beam (51) in the electromagnet (2a).
