Title:
BIOABSORBABLE FIBER-LIKE MEDICAL MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2022/092014
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a bioabsorbable stretchable fiber-like medical material that requires only a small force to achieve ligation that gives small knots and is less likely to loosen. The present invention provides a fiber-like medical material that comprises a molded article obtained by spinning and stretching a bioabsorbable aliphatic polymer, has an elongation at break of 75% or more, has a lower intermediate tensile elasticity at a strain in the range of 0.25-10% than an initial tensile elasticity at a strain in the range of 0.05-0.25%, the intermediate tensile elasticity being 400 MPa or less, and has a residual strain ratio after 100% deformation of 70% or less.
