Abstract:
A biogas-utilizing methanation system is equipped with a solid oxide fuel cell in which a to-be-treated gas is used as a fuel gas, a hydrogen generator capable of generating hydrogen using the power of a renewable energy power generator, and a methanation device that methanates carbon dioxide in the system with hydrogen generated by the hydrogen generator. Carbon dioxide in the system can be stored in a storage device on the basis of the amount of to-be-treated gas supplied or the power of the renewable energy power generator.
