Abstract:
A propylene oxide production apparatus is provided with: a switching mechanism in which the state of each of reactors can be switched between an operating state where a reaction raw material is suppled and an epoxidation reaction is carried out and a non-operating state where the supply of the reaction raw material is blocked, a reactor in the non-operating state can be switched one by one, and switching can be carried out in such a manner that only reactors in the operating state can be connected fluidically in series or in parallel so that the reaction raw material can be supplied to the reactors in the operating state; and a sampling mechanism in which a portion of the reaction mixture is sampled from each of discharge lines respectively connected to the reactors.
