Abstract:
The present invention relates to a biomarker for diagnosing breast cancer, and more specifically, provides a biomarker for diagnosing breast cancer, comprising a specific DNA fragment or full-length DNA of MAMDC2. It is possible to effectively diagnose breast cancer when measuring the expression level of a DNA fragment or full-length DNA of MAMDC2, which is the gene constituting the diagnostic biomarker for breast cancer of the present invention, from the tissue of a specimen, and comparing the measured result with the expression level of a normal tissue, and it is possible to treat breast cancer at an early stage therethrough.
