Abstract:
A bis(amino-methyl)cyclohexane production method that has: an isomerization step for isomerizing cis isomers of 1,4-bis(amino-methyl)cyclohexane and/or trans isomers of 1,3-bis(amino-methyl)cyclohexane in a column bottom part of a distillation column and obtaining trans isomers of 1,4-bis(amino-methyl)cyclohexane and/or cis isomers of 1,3-bis(amino-methyl)cyclohexane; and a distillation step for distilling and separating the trans isomers of 1,4-bis(amino-methyl)cyclohexane and/or the cis isomers of 1,3-bis(amino-methyl)cyclohexane at a column top part of the distillation column. The temperature of the isomerization reaction in the isomerization step is 80-140℃, and the isomerization step and the distillation step are executed at the same time.
