　A bis(perfluoroether alkyl carboxylic acid) amino ester represented by the general formula {CnF2n+1O[CF(CF3)CF2O]aCF(CF3)COO(CH2)b}2NR, (wherein, R is a hydrogen atom, a C1-C12 alkyl group, an aryl group, or an aralkyl group, preferably a C1-C6 alkyl group or aryl group; n is an integer 1 to 3; a is an integer 0 to 20, preferably an integer 1 to 6; and b is an integer 1 to 12, preferably an integer 1 to 4). This bis(perfluoroether alkyl carboxylic acid)amino ester having an amino group at the ester group terminal is manufactured by reacting a perfluoroether fluoride carboxylic acid compound CnF2n+1O[CF(CF3)CF2O]aCF(CF3)COF and a bis(hydroxyalkyl)amine compound HO(CH2)bNR(CH2)bOH in a 2:1 ratio in the presence of an alkali metal fluoride.
