Abstract:
The invention relates to a blade ring cutter for removing chips, comprising a blade ring with a ring of blade assemblies, said blade ring encompassing a rotor located concentrically in relation thereto. Each blade assembly comprises a blade support (1), a blade clamping plate (2), a blade (3) which is sandwiched between these two, and a wear plate which faces towards the rotor. The blade (3) leans into the radial direction and each wear plate (4) forms a chip outlet slot with the next blade cutter. The front surface forms a chip extraction channel (5) with the adjacent front face of the corresponding wear plate (4).
