Abstract:
Provided are a blast furnace slag level estimation method and a blast furnace slag level estimation device that enable highly accurate estimation of the liquid level of slag. Further provided are an operation guidance method, a hot metal production method, and an operation guidance device, for carrying out guidance for a blast furnace operation on the basis of the liquid level of slag that is estimated highly accurately. The blast furnace slag level estimation method includes a step (S2) of calculating the liquid level of a melt containing slag for each of a plurality of domains that are delimited by a low permeable phase, by using a physical model based on a mass balance which takes, as an input, at least one of a pig iron tapping speed, a slag discharge speed, a pig iron production speed and a tailing speed, and which assumes the existence, at the bottom of a furnace, of a low permeable phase which does not readily transmit slag.
