Abstract:
The present invention relates to a block chain system and method employing a hash-based signature scheme, wherein each node of the block chain system may provide a block chain service by comprising: a transaction signature generation unit for generating a transaction signature that is a signature for a transaction using a hash-based signature scheme, and storing the transaction signature in the transaction; a block generation unit for generating a Merkle signature corresponding to each transaction to be included in a block, and generating a block including transactions in which the Merkle signature is stored; and a transaction verification unit for verifying the transaction signature of the transaction to be verified and verifying the transaction through verification of the Merkle signature of the transaction to be verified.
