Abstract:
Provided are a blood flow analyzing device and method, and a program, with which it is possible to recognize a backflow location even if the backflow occurs in an unexpected location, and with which it is possible to reduce the risk of overlooking a backflow location. This blood flow analyzing device is provided with: a blood vessel region extracting unit (11) which extracts a blood vessel region from a blood vessel image obtained by capturing an image of a subject containing a blood vessel; a flow velocity vector acquiring unit (12) which acquires a flow velocity vector indicating a blood flow speed and a blood flow direction in the blood vessel region; and a backflow identifying unit (13) which sets a central axis extending in a direction in which the blood vessel region extends, calculates an integral value by integrating in the time axis direction the component of the flow velocity vector in the direction of the central axis, and identifies the presence or absence of backflow of the blood flow in the blood vessel region on the basis of a change in the integral value.
