Abstract:
Provided is a blood glucose meter that has a function of simultaneously displaying a plurality of continuous blood glucose levels, said blood glucose levels being highly relevant with each other, on a display screen. According to this blood glucose meter, when a blood glucose level table (307), that stores measured blood glucose levels, is retrieved and previously measured blood glucose levels are displayed on a display (309), preprandial and postprandial glucose levels, i.e., two blood glucose levels being relevant with each other are displayed on a single screen so that blood glucose level variation before and after eating can be immediately understood. Thus, a physician can more accurately assess whether or not the patient has an appropriate meal, or whether or not insulin administration is appropriate.
