Abstract:
Provided is a photoelectric conversion element module wherein influence of deterioration of each of the photoelectric conversion elements to the whole module is suppressed. A photoelectric conversion element module (100) is provided with a plurality of photoelectric conversion elements (1) connected in series, and separating layers (3), each of which separates the photoelectric conversion elements (1) adjacent to each other in the parallel direction. Each of the photoelectric conversion elements (1) includes a light transmitting substrate and a supporting substrate, which are disposed to face each other. The photoelectric conversion element (1) also includes, between the light transmitting substrate and the supporting substrate, a conductive film layer, a photoelectric conversion layer having a photosensitizer adsorbed to the surface thereof, a catalyst layer, a counter electrode conductive layer, and a carrier transport layer formed of a carrier transport material. Furthermore, the photoelectric conversion element (1) includes a sealant which fixes the supporting substrate to the light transmitting substrate. Each of the separating layers (3) has fine pores formed therein.
