Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to improve user-friendliness of a board carrier apparatus which is provided with a plurality of engaging parts which are each engageable with a circuit board. If a transport direction is x1 and a board is large, one claw (172a) among two claws (172a, 172b) is caused to be in a state of suspension. A shuttle (112) is moved to the end of movement on a downstream-side in the x1 direction, and arms (136a, 136b) are rotated in an R1 direction. Accompanying rotation of a rotatable body (176a), a lever (186a) is rotated to a spaced position by way of a lever rotation unit (214a) of a suspension apparatus (110a), whereupon an arm unit (100a) is caused to be separable from a moving body (102). In addition, an arm holder (166a) is caused to engage an engaging unit (212a) so that movement in the x-direction is prevented. Subsequently, in a state in which the arm unit (100a) is held by the suspension apparatus (110a), the moving body (102) is moved in the x2 direction. The claw (172a) is caused to be in a state of suspension, and therefore, is not used in transport of the board. As a result, it is possible to transport a large board using the claw (172b).
