Abstract:
In a boiler equipped with a booster pump for a water supply line, the service life of the booster pump will be extended. The boiler is equipped with a can body, an air blower, a duct, an exhaust pipe, a separator, a water supply line, and a controller. The water supply pump and the booster pump are provided on the water supply line and a pressure switch is provided at the separator to detect the internal pressure of the boiler. Based on the output of the pressure switch, the controller controls the booster pump such that it continues to operate when the internal pressure of the boiler is at or above a prescribed value.
