Abstract:
The present invention provides a bone treatment instrument that may easily insert a pin-shaped member into a bone of a patient in an accurate position and direction regardless of an operator's experience. A guide member 11 guides the insertion direction of the pin-shaped member 10. A body shaft member 12 has the guide member 11 attached thereto. A first indicator member 13 and a second indicator member 14 are formed from resin and attached to the body shaft member 12 to indicate the position of the guide member 11. The first indicator member 13 is attached to the body shaft member 12 at a different position in the longitudinal direction from the guide member 11, and extends along a surface S1 including the guide member 11. The second indicator member 14 is attached to the body shaft member 12 at the same position in the longitudinal direction as the guide member 11, and extends along a surface S2 perpendicular to the surface S1 and including the guide member 11. On the tip sides of the first and second indicator members 13 and 14, metal indicator members 15 and 16 are disposed respectively that indicate the position of the pin-shaped member 10.
