Abstract:
Provided is a box-packing device which minimizes a decline in productivity and an increase in cost. A box-packing device (40) is equipped with: a stocking unit (711) for forming a stocking space (SP) in which it is possible to stock a plurality of cardboard boxes (B) manufactured from a box-manufacturing sheet (FB); a packing unit (713) on which a cardboard box (B) transferred from the stocking space (SP) is placed; a box-packing unit (65); and a controller (90). The box-packing unit (65) performs a box-packing operation for packing a plurality of products (P) discharged from a bag-producing packaging machine (20) into the cardboard box (B) placed on the packing unit (713). On the basis of weighing apparatus information and user settings information, the controller (90) performs a stock number determination processing for determining the quantity (stock number (SV)) of cardboard boxes (B) stocked in the stocking space (SP). The weighing apparatus information is information (packaging machine-related information) that pertains to the state of operation of the packaging machine. The user settings information is information that is set by a user.
