Abstract:
The invention relates to a braking device and a method for operating a braking device, said device having an actuating system inn addition to a brake booster system, in particular comprising an electrohydraulic drive and a piston-cylinder system (brake master cylinder) for supplying hydraulic pressure medium to the brake circuits, a valve system for open or closed-loop control of the supply of the pressure medium and an electronic control unit (ECU). According to the invention, an additional volume of pressure medium is supplied in a controlled manner to at least one brake circuit by means of another piston-cylinder system, in particular a dual-action reciprocating piston (10), and by means of at least one of the valves (AS) controlled by the electronic control unit (ECU).
