Abstract:
Provided is a branching port which makes it possible to prevent generation of accumulated air and fluid retention and to properly maintain a branching site and the cleanliness therearound, which enhances cleaning effects by a cleaning solution, and which enables monitoring even with failure to remember to attach a cap. A branching port provided with: a housing having a branching flow path, and a main flow path comprising a fluid inflow path and a fluid outflow path; a cap detachably attached to the housing; and a valve body for releasing a shut-off between the main flow path and the branching flow path when the cap has been attached or when the cap is removed and a fluid-circulating means that enables a fluid to circulate has been attached; wherein the branching port is characterized in that a bypass path that branches from the fluid inflow path and communicates with the branching flow path when the cap is attached is formed, and an on/off valve that shuts off leakage of the fluid to outside the housing from a branching section branching from the fluid inflow path to the bypass path when the cap is removed is provided.
