Abstract:

A memory unit of a broadcast relay assistance device of an embodiment of the present invention stores, in chronological order, broadcast audio data corresponding to input broadcast audio signals. Due to this configuration, an output unit, on the basis of an externally input abnormality detection signal, reads out from the memory unit broadcast audio data corresponding to broadcast audio signals that would have been broadcast during an abnormality detection time period and performs processing to output the corresponding broadcast audio signals after the abnormality has been eliminated. Therefore, even in a case where a silent state occurs (AM wave output is briefly blocked) at the time of abnormality, the impact of a silent state on a listener can be reduced.
