Abstract:
The present application provides a broadcast signal transmission method and device. The method comprises: configuring control information comprised in a broadcast signal, wherein the control information comprises second control information for configuring entry information of an application function and first control information provided with one or more pieces of second control information; and transmitting the broadcast signal comprising the control information, wherein the broadcast signal is formed using an MMT/TLV (MPEG media transport/type-length-value) scheme by means of multiplexing video and audio signals of a broadcast program with an application function assigned to the control information of the broadcast program. The broadcast signal is formed using the MMT/TLV scheme by means of multiplexing the video and audio signals of the broadcast program with the application function assigned to the control information of the broadcast program, thereby providing an MPT (MMT package table) and an application service descriptor corresponding to highly functionalized data content services.
