Abstract:
A broadcast system (1) includes a plurality of loudspeakers (501, 502), a management device (3), a switching control unit, and a failure judgment unit. The switching control unit causes a loudspeaker (502) to be inspected among the plurality of the loudspeakers, to perform loudspeaker operation and causes a judgment loudspeaker (501) in the vicinity of the loudspeaker (502) to be inspected, to perform microphone operation. The failure judgment unit judges whether the loudspeaker (502) to be inspected has failed according to a sound signal generated by the microphone operation of the judgment loudspeaker (501) when the loudspeaker (502) to be inspected has outputted a sound by the loudspeaker operation. Thus, it is possible to inspect failure of a loudspeaker with a simple configuration.
