Abstract:
A cable gland (1) is provided with: a clamp ring (3) that is formed from an elastic material and that comprises a first tubular hole (3a) into which a cable (5) is inserted; and a main body (2) that comprises a second tubular hole (2d) into which the clamp ring (3) is inserted. A first annular protrusion (3d) is formed around all of the inner circumference of the clamp ring (3) and has an inner diameter that is smaller than the outer diameter of the cable (5) when the cable (5) is not inserted. A second annular protrusion section (3c) is formed around all of the outer circumference of the clamp ring (3) and has an outer diameter that is larger than the inner diameter of the main body (2) when the clamp ring (3) is not inserted in the second tubular hole (2d).
