Title:
CABLE CONNECTION/ANCHORING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/002757
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A high-frequency transmission line (40), the substrate of which is an insulator (54), has linear conductors (50, 52a, 52b) for transmitting signals. Through-holes (HL-S, HL-G1, HL-G2) are formed at positions corresponding to said linear conductors (50, 52a, 52b). The high-frequency transmission line (40) is positioned in a connector (36) with the positions of the bottom ends of the through-holes (HL-S, HL-G1, HL-G2) matched to the positions of signal terminals (22, 24a, 24b) provided on the connector (36). A conductive joining material (PS1) provided at the top ends of the through-holes (HL-S, HL-G1, HL-G2) is fluidized by the application of heat and reaches the bottom ends of the through-holes (HL-S, HL-G1, HL-G2) as a result of either surface tension or capillary action. The linear conductors (50, 52a, 52b) are thereby electrically connected to the signal terminals (22, 24a, 24b).
