Abstract:
A cable type battery is disclosed. The cable type battery according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a cable type battery cell which includes at least one inner electrode layer comprising an inner electrode active material formed on the surface of an inner current collector extending in the longitudinal direction so as to have a predetermined-shaped section, a separation layer formed to surround the inner electrode layer, and an outer electrode layer surrounding the separation layer and comprising an outer electrode active material formed on the surface of an outer current collector; and a protection circuit module electrically connected to the battery cell so as to protect the battery cell.
