Abstract:
A cage (7) which is formed of a plurality of cage segments (15) obtained through division in the circumferential direction and which is used for a roller bearing (B), wherein each of the cage segments (15) is provided with: a plurality of column portions (17) configured to hold side surfaces of rollers; connecting portions (19) for coupling both end portions of the plurality of column portions (17) over the circumferential direction; pockets (21) formed of the column portions (17) and the connecting portion (19) and each receiving each of the rollers; and guide lugs (23) protruded from the column portions (17) and each configured to be brought into contact with a rolling contact surface of the roller received in the pocket (21). Further, in both end portions of each of the guide lugs (23) in the axial direction, radial-direction reinforcement portions (25) extending in the radial direction from the proximal end over to the distal end of the guide lug (23) are provided integrally with the guide lug.
