Abstract:
A calculus crushing device (3) is provided with: a laser light emission unit (35) for emitting treatment laser light for crushing a calculus (X); a guide light emission unit (34) for emitting guide light; a return light detection unit (36) for detecting return light of the emitted guide light reflected from the calculus (X); a distance measurement unit (37) for measuring the distance from the laser light emission unit (35) to the calculus (X) on the basis of the return light; a determination unit (38) for determining the state of bubbles generated between the laser light emission unit (35) and the calculus (X) on the basis of the distance measured by the distance measurement unit (37); and a light amount control unit (39) for controlling the amount of treatment laser light on the basis of the determined state of bubbles.
