Abstract:
The present invention relates to a calibration method for a gas concentration detector provided with a light path member which has an infrared light path therein, and which is provided with a communication portion for connecting the light path and a space outside, the method comprising: a step in which an absorption material (220) and a cover member are attached to the gas concentration detector such that the absorption material (220) is led to be connected to the light path through the communication portion, while the absorption material (220) is separated, at a location outside the light path member, from external air by the cover member; a step in which the concentration of a specific gas is lowered within the light path by keeping the cover member and the absorption material (220) attached to the gas concentration detector; and a step in which calibration is performed on the gas concentration detector while the concentration of the specific gas in the light path is kept low.
