Abstract:
The present text discloses a call request redirection method, comprising: a home location query apparatus of a called user receives a first location query request sent by a mobile switching center (MSCe) of a caller; the home location query apparatus determines whether or not the called user is a VoLTE user; if it is determined that the called user is a VoLTE user, the home location query apparatus sends a first location query response to the MSCe of the caller, wherein, the first location query response carries route information of an IMS network, and the first location query response instructs the MSCe of the caller to redirect the call request to the IMS network via the route information.
