Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a camera control device that enables a photographer to intuitively and easily control a camera mounted to a drone. [Solution] This camera control device 9 transmits a camera control signal to a panning-direction drive mechanism 6 and a tilting-direction drive mechanism 7 that respectively drive a camera 2 mounted to a drone 1 in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction upon receipt of the camera control signal. The camera control device 9 has: a rotary encoder 20 which detects, in a camera platform device 12 having a mount table capable of rotating in the panning direction and the tilting direction, a rotary motion in the panning-direction of the mount table; a rotary encoder 21 which detects a rotary motion in the tilting-direction of the mount table in the camera platform device 12; and a communication unit 22 which transmits a camera control signal so as to drive the camera 2 in the horizontal direction according to a detection result of the rotary encoder 20, and to drive the camera 2 in the vertical direction according to a detection result of the rotary encoder 21.
