Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to enable a user to recognize camera shake even when viewing a subject from an optical view finder. Part of a subject image (89) captured by a solid-state electronic image sensor is displayed on an electronic viewfinder constituted by a liquid crystal display device. A subject image (85), which is optically formed via the object window of the optical viewfinder, and part of the subject image displayed on the electronic viewfinder are superimposed on each other. The superimposed part of the subject image is blurry when there is camera shake, so the user knows whether there is camera shake by looking at that part of the subject image.
